today only, yarn dyed cotton shirting for 2.49 a yard, lightweight fabric but still good for quilts or backing. Also medium weight Roth yarn dyed plaids and stripes for 2.44. Great for aprons and kitchen items also for backings. I spent my fabric budget and then some after resisting any fabric purchases for four whole months. I admit it I am weak. However with prices going up and up this is a good deal. I was planning on making some simple quilts with blue squares separated by white sashing and one with pink squares and white sashing for a favorite (only) grandniece and grandnephew. Perfect for light bright summer quilts. But the catch is the sale is today only and when it is gone it is gone.....Now to find room in the stash to put it all.

Go To www.fabric.com and look for the "deal of the day" logo on the right hand side of the screen, or click on the spring cleaning link, or look for it under apparel fabric. You can sign up for daily e-mails on the deal of the day. They are good deals, price is right for me and I am always looking for a good bargain. Also the roth checks and plaids are not part of the deal of the day but are under the decorator fabrics, put Roth in the search screen and it will come up for you. Lots to look at, but check as some of the shirtings will not be 100%cotton. It will say "cotton yarn dyed" if it is, if not it might say stretch shirting, click on the fabric if you want to see all of the details. Most is 58" wide so a really good deal for the price.

except for the Roth plaids...the deal of the day is gone, it was 2.49 and now is 4.98 :-(
