I know what you mean! I talked myself out of buying it for a long time and almost sprinkled in my panties when I found it at the sale! And I should have said they wanted $20 but I haggled them down to $10! It was the only thing I bought at the sale. It was daughters and DIL running the sale as the quilter had passed away. They were trying to sell everything for about 5% less than brand new. They went online and found the items being sold, printed the page out and taped them to the different items. I knew this quilter and she was a hoarder. Things were dirty and covered with greasy smoke film. There were rulers that had cigarette burns on them. They turned my offer down at first so I layed it back on the table and started to walk away. I got 3 steps away and they said "Okay, we will take $10". They certainly weren't selling alot of stuff!

That is a steal! Templates alone are like $16 on the Dear Jane site. I was gifted the book and bought the templates. I didn't need them in the beginning for the blocks (squares), used what I had on hand out of habit but the triangle one is very helpful in lining up the pieces and cutting uniform triangles for the border. If you are planning to make a DJ in your lifetime, that's well worth the investment.
