    Default Destashify, new resource?

I just became aware of this site Destashify.com to list your fabric or buy from others listed. Has anyone used it?

just took a look, I think they are far too late to the internet selling game to be useful, they have too few items listed to re-draw lookers and the prices are high-ish for used items.
Even though it isn't so much fun as it once was, ebay is still the place to draw enough lookers to get a sale.

And my pacific NW facebook quilters group has a selling group and I've found and sold many things there over the last 5-10 years of cutting down stuff, including all my machines but the two I use all the time.

I've looked at the facebook selling groups like destash a number of times but the volume moves the page too fast and again, hard to get the eyes needed to buy something specific. Although the Kaffe group seems to sell out everything. If there is a Tula group it probably does too.

Like Kalama, I took a look and had similar responses. I think if you find a missing fabric, then it is probably well worth the price to pay but you still have the standard trust issues/worries about timeliness and price of postage etc. But to be honest you get that with any direct buyer/seller.

One item that particularly concerned me is that the back pages (like 5 of them) are full of "sold out" items. Because of that, I would be concerned about how responsive the management is to the sellers and whether they will take care of web based issues.

And speaking of missing fabrics, I believe I have one someone is needing -- need to go check to see if I have the yardage they want.
