Is there a formula for making Dresden Plates, starting from the diameter of the the circle which represents the inner wheel?

Yes! I am so happy to share an answer with you! Our dear and trusted friend at Missouri Star quilts has done a TV (Jenny Doan) demonstration on how to make the Dresden plates from very big to quite small in various circle combinations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcy_p4pryE4. Try looking at this! I've just got to get my circles anchored down. Plus I think you have to get out the paper and a pencil with an eraser and do a bit of figuring!

I just copied the one I saw on Pinterest. I love how it is coming out. I would love to see the one in the AQS magazine.
