    Tape's a good idea, but it actually marked the line on my machine bed with a sharpie. Also marked a line straight down from the needle for when I need that line. ( I also write on my machine needle settings I use a lot.)

    Frog tape is the brand name of painter's tape. It's green. Any painter's tape will work. I use it for marking on the sewing machine too -- I lay a strip to guide my cloth along a specific width.

    So has anyone tried this? What's the verdict? Is it pretty accurate?

    I'm not making HST's right now for any project.

    This is how I make hst. I can knock out a hundred of them in no time. I've tried other methods and this is the best for me.
