I live aabout 5 miles from the San Marcos shop, and I really like going there. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. It's also intertaining when filming is going on and a full staff is running around trying to get everything done, and the dogs are there greeting everyone.

I've even ordered fabric on-line because of the sale prices, and have received my fabric timely.

I'm truly amazed at the creataive mind of Eleanor. She's great!

    Catrancher:

The time frame of February 5th throught the 12th is an 8 shop themed row run and March 5th through the 13th is a 15/16 shop block shop-hop. QIAD participates in both. If you haven't had time to see any San Diego County quilt shops, you should consider participating. It's lots of fun. Each shop has a free pattern you can pick up. The shop-hop also sells a kit for the blocks (the last few years they were $3) and all the blocks are color coordinated.

Thanks, but we were only in San Diego for the day and two nights. Now I've moved on to Yuma, AZ.
