jjs, is the $58.00 price tag for upgraders as well as new owners? what's the "learning curve" on eq software?

I'm not jjs, but I believe the $58 is only for an upgrade, but the full program is also discounted significantly before the end of may. Check their website.

I write documentation for a living and the EQ manual is one of the best written software manuals I've ever seen (besides the stuff I write, of course! ). EQ6's manual was presented as a series of lessons where you learned enough to do some very intricate work.

In fact, I designed this quilt immediately after finishing Lesson 1. I called it "Faded Fences" and the baby I made it for is now 3 years old and has a little brother.

oh JOY!!! I have mine on order also..

I have loved EQ6, and thought that the upgrade would be worth the $58.. The site said they were planning on starting to ship June 7th. Not long now..

I wonder how many of us on the forum have EQ6? anyone have an idea?

oh.. I love your faded fences.

I make a quilt every year to raffle off at our annual Navy Sailor's association reunion.. This year I just could not find a pattern that struck my fancy.. so sat down with my computer and designed my own quilt. So much fun.

The quilt is ready to go off to the LAQ now.. It turned out just like I wanted it to! I've enjoyed this quilt from beginning to end, partly because of EQ6!

When I recently pre-ordered my EQ7, the confirmation said that it could take up to 3 full weeks for all of us to get our software and we were asked to please be patient. The goal is for all of us to have the program by the end of June at the latest but they hope much sooner.

Are you sure of this? Did you purchase the upgrade or the full program. I pre-ordered the upgrade and it originally stated at the EQ site that we do have to have EQ6 installed and activated before we can install EQ7 upgrade. Hopefully you are correct in this. Since I just bought EQ6 a month ago, it is on this computer but I anticipate buying a new one sometime during the next year and really would prefer NOT to have to install 6 first and then 7.
