I have read some of your writings and just love your philosophy on life. I was born and raised on a farm and had to wait until I was old enough to buy my own pony. I recommend an old mare for learning. They are good baby sitters. Now I am an old grandma with a 10 year old grand daughter. Having a horse was one of my fondest memories. I wish you had the opportunity. It is something they can never take away from you. I am going to do a quilt with the silhouette of horses heads of different breeds. It is not something I have seen. It will be some of the favorite horses from the past fifty years. Perhaps there are others who would like horse quilts also.
