    I just stumbled on this a short while ago, too. I was searching for an easy method for a friend of mine but next time I do pinwheels, I'll be doing it this way!

    I've used this technique before, but I wish she'd been clearer on the dimensions...she started with 5" inch charms and ended up with what, a 5.5" or 6" block, depending on the foot? The seam allowance?

    I keep meaning to play with this to figure out the sizing, but I haven't yet. I'd love to hear what others end up with!

    I made a baby quilt and an adult size quilt using this method, fast, fun and accurate.
