    This weekend, the hubby dragged me to Home Depot to get a gardening tool. As I wandered in a nearby aisle, I saw my exact Fiskars fabric cutting scissors! I showed him and he said "from now on, we're shopping for quilting stuff in hardware stores" since I just bought about 20 rotary blades from Harbor Freight.

    I've posted the links below. HD is $5 cheaper, but if you get Joann with a coupon, then it's cheaper. Either way, good to know!

    I LOVE tool stores! DH gets a kick out of me when we go shopping. Clothing --- nah---- where's the tool store????? Even when we go to Pigeon Forge and the outlets!

    It's all in how it's labeled ;) Crazy huh? DH is an avid fisherman and uses red glass beads for one or two of his rigs... he quickly learned that craft stores sold them much cheaper than ones that were labeled for "fishing".

    Thanks for the heads up though - those look pretty nice!

    I've never done a rag quilt. I use these to cut fabric and thread. It's a lot easier for me to snip from the machine than use the blade that's attached to my machine. I also use these to snip yarn and cross stitch thread. Less fraying than with a regular scissors.
