Thanks for posting this. I was genuinely interested in why the off on button couldn't be used. I wasn't criticizing as some seem to like to think.

I have been off my machine for several days now because of gallbladder surgery (which I'm doing good thankfully). I am very anxious to get back to it and would go crazy if I could never sew again. She is a very lucky person to have someone that figure out something for her to use.

I may not sew every day but I would not be a happy person. Also reading, I reading a book every day. At the library once a week. Sewing & reading are necessities.
