Found a resource for online quilting classes
#1
Hello Everyone, I came across online quilting classes and wondered if anyone else has taken these or something similar? If so, did you find them as helpful as taking quilting classes in person?
Thank you for any feedback,

You might go to youtube.com and type in Missouri Quilt Company {missouriquiltco} in the search window. You will find numerous tutorials by Jenny Doan - she is fantastic the way she does her tutorials.
Type in quilting in the search window in youtube.com and you will find numerous other tutorials by other quilters. The tutorials are so helpful - might not need to pay for a quilting class online. I personally would not hesitate to take one of Jenny Doan's classes if one can afford a class. I hope this helps you..... Happy Quilting

I am currently taking the class with Jenny Doan and I absolutely love it ..as a beginning quilter ( 7 months in) I find this class covers all the ground that I need to become successful. Jenny's style of teaching makes you have many light bulb moments where you say ahhh that is how you do that. If I have a question I simply ask and she emails me back. Her tips are invaluable as well as learning at my own pace. Its amazing!! I have watched everyone of her free video's and yes you learn but do you really get the fundamentals? I for one want the knowledge to make myself successful at quilting. I can't think of a better Christmas gift to give myself ...Which I did ..haha . I am also Laura108 in the class so come join me..I promise you will love it :)

I've taken dozens of classes from Quilt University over the last 10 years. The classes can start for beginners and go up through design classes. Anything you'd want, they have. The relationships between the students are great. In one of my classes, we had students from 20 countries!
