Default Free BOW: Four-Patch Square Dance

Piecing The Past Quilts is doing another free block of the week, starting early October. Anyone planning on doing it? It looks like a fun simple quilt that can easily be done between other projects. https://www.piecingthepastquilts.com...e-dance-signup . I'm having fun pulling fabrics from my stash this morning.

I have signed up for it even though I haven't started the last one (ended today). It looks like the next one will be a great scrappy. They have a different way of doing their Block of the Weeks. I follow along on the block directions but don't make the cutting directions because my scraps usually aren't yardage. Anyone else do this too?

I love the look of this quilt.

I'm wondering if the flowers on the border are appliqued, or just represent a pattern on the border fabric. And how long it will run?

I just finished cutting all the fabrics and bagging them up. I would say, going off the cutting instructions, that the border flowers are appliqued. As for how long it will run, I didn't see that anywhere. Looking forward to starting!

    Wow, you are speedy!

I cut one of the reds today, lol; I came across a piece of red that was big enough for one of the reds.

I got my email confirming participation, and links to print directions. Yes, that outer border is definitely applique...Going to have to decide on that bit as applique is not me.

I am registered too. I don't have that depth of color choices asked for, but I always manage to make it work with what is on hand and minimal shopping.

I am registered and can't wait to get started. I hope to use up a lot of my scraps on this. I love her patterns.
