9 patch is lovely set on points.... yesterday I cut out what looks like the same square as the finished chevron... I sewed some of them together this morning with the points facing towards the middle of four... just get four squares which have been sewn together with the points facing the middle.... it makes another big square and looks quite nice if all the squares are the same... another way is use two squares the same and two squares of another colour... and put them on opposite corners on an angle... but with the small squares facing into the middle.... don't know the name of that pattern... does anybody know?
