Bev, thank you so much! I've been wanting to make pillowcases! This makes it all look easy.

Oh Bev you can do them!!!!!

I have made several from that tute very easy, and a lot of fun to make. I made several as Christmas gifts last year. Will make more this year.

My 4 year old gd asked me to make her a princess one just the other day. So grandma has fabric shopping to do

    Thanks for posting this pattern.
I found this about a year ago and have made the french seam pillowcase many times. I find that the pillowcase is good to hold the quilt when you present it as a gift and also as quilt storage. They match the quilt and look beautiful-no seams to serge, and you can make different cases for a change.
Quick, easy and inexpensive when you have stash and can mix and match fabrics.
    Everyone loves the presentation.

this is the way i've always made cases. i learned this method from garment sewing because this is the way i treat sheer fabric seams. since you can see through sheer garments you want the cleanest seams you can get and this is it. sheers are usually too flimsy for flat felling.
