I was reading another thread about pinking shears someone ordered online at Walmart and lo and behold, you can buy fabric online. So if they don't have enough of what you want at your store, or can't get to a WM with a fabric department, you might check it out.

Thanks, Yngldy. I searched the Walmart site under crafts - fabric and 600+ items popped up. So if you know what you are looking for (or you are short, which you mentioned) this would definitely be another option. And most of the time they have free shipping to store. I saw today they were advertising shipping to home for $1.95.

thanks! Our WM doesn't carry fabric, but if we can have it shipped to the store, maybe they'll get the hint to carry it!

The fabric in our Walmart has doubled. I couldn't believe it when I walked to the back of the store. It feels like okay fabric not like the cheap stuff. In the next isle some of it feels less than nice, but I was shocked hearing about some of your Walmart stories doing away with fabric.
