    Default Glorified 9 patch

FYI - Quilt in a day/Eleanor Burns way of doing the glorified nine patch ......... I just watched her video. Block Party June 2016... Might be easier to do for those who are not comfortable with doing curved piecing....or those who want to do it, but don't want to fuss with curved piecing........she has a new pattern for this block....using her scallop template.

Yes! Her videos are a stitch! An aha moment for me was near the end where she is attempting to sew the two blocks together, and the bulkiness of all that seaming/ interfacing is jamming and it would not feed thru......I smiled, nodded my head, as I too have a BL, and have wrestled with bulky seams.....in my mind a machine design flaw...skips stitches every time! Was kind of satisfying to know its not "just me"!
