Going out of Business Sale
#21
Thanks for the link. I ordered a few pieces totalling 24 yards and shipping was only $11! I didn't think that was bad. I ordered what I hope will be some nice big pieces to use for backings, couldn't pass up the prices.
With everyone else has said I agree it is sad when a shop closes. I hope the next adventures in their lives is successful!

I hate to hear of another quilt store closing. I just received notification a couple of days ago of one of the two in Grass Valley CA closing soon, too. It is going to get harder and harder to be able to walk into a LQS and smell, touch, feel, etc., the wonderful fabrics they carry. We have all got to group together and go in every month and buy something from them. Let's do our work to keep them open......

Best friends quilt shop posted $40 to my credit card on 12/30/11 and I have not received my order nor have I been ablet to get an answer via phone or email. Does anyone know what is happening here? Are they out of business and do ;you think I should contact my credit card to not pay that bill?

Unfortunately I would contact your credit card company. I think that an order shipped on 12/30/11 would have arrived by now. I just checked the website, and it indicates that the online store is shut down. I believe the store is also closed. The store was reopened for one day (and I think it was 12/30/11). I went, and there wasn't much left.
