I didn't have to login. When the login information comes up, there is a small "close" x at the top of it, I just clicked on it and it went right on. Try it again.

Went there....went to referenced sites too.......done most of those ideas, in similar ways, but question is have I gone to these "organized" mags and actually used all those " gotta save that"? Answer: NO.....just one or two....so my new solution is donate to a group of older adults in town that do quilting/ free table at guild meetings, same with my "library" of books.....maybe I'm feeling my mortality, but it sure is giving me less clutter...and if I have an idea for something...computer usually has a site to check out........

I enjoyed this link. Trouble is though, I saw some magazines she displayed that I didn't have subscriptions to, and now I want to get more! Seriously I appreciate you sharing this. Also, check out her tutes at the top of her page.There's some great stuff there...

I have over 300 magazines. I hate looking at a magazine with ripped out pages, absolutely detest it. If I did this to any of my magazines, I would recycle the magazine with my trash. I put markers in the pages of the magazines that I love and set them aside. I have no idea what I will do with the others right now. Some of these vintage magazines cost me $1.00 each at antique stores so I am not planning on giving them away.

I try to keep things organized with a small spiral notebook. I thought she had some neat ideas.

I had struggled for years with quilting magazines before I came up with this idea.

I pulled articles out of magazines and stapled the pages together. Then, I ordered four sturdy, decorative boxes with lids.

My collection would be limited to whatever I could store in these boxes!

It is easy to add articles to each box on my shelving unit - a definite priority in my planning.

Hopefully, this plan might help someone else. :-) Each box can be reviewed easily to cull articles I no longer want.

Perhaps most importantly, I have come to the conclusion that I will not be burdened with keeping too much stuff!
