    When my mascara runs out, I clean that brush thoroughly, and I use it instead of a pipe cleaner. I used to use pipe cleaners, but the mascara brush is better.

    I've used pipe cleaners for several years but thanks, Joanne, I give the recycled mascara brush a try.

    Cleaned both of mine the other day. It is amazing how much fuss builds up. Always clean after every sewing project. I like the ideal of after every bobbin. This is why your bobbin empty alert doesn't alway work.
