I agree with everyones comments, and I seldom shop there unless I absolutely have to, but I am a member of AQS, I get AQS magazines which I love but with your subscription you also can sign up for free for a JoAnn's 10% discount card off entire purchase including sale & clearance items. The card is good for as long as the subscription is I can't remember if it's 1 or 2 yrs. But every little bit helps.

[QUOTE=quiltingnd;6932160]I have a coupons app and noticed the change as well. It use to be a 50% coupon. Now it's only 20-30%. I found a 50% coupon online and made an order online for some flannel. A few days later, I got an email saying they canceled my order. They claimed they were out of stock for my flannel. No call or anything asking if I wanted a substitute. I really think they canceled because of the coupon. I was getting 7 yards of flannel for $21.[/QUOTE
They did the same thing to me when I ordered 8 yards of white on white with a 40% off coupon!! I thought the same as you did!

Joann's closed the store that was about 10 miles from me and reopened about 20 miles away and the other is in the opposite direction and also is about 15/20 miles away. Too far for the occasional trip.
The last time I made the trip they didn't have what I needed and anything else that I was interested in buying, was already on a smaller sale, so no coupon purchase. GO FIGURE

Dumb question: does Joann's accept Michael's coupons? Or is it just the one store another poster mentioned? The Joann's' Michael's, and Hobby Lobby are only about a block apart here, so there's lots of competition. I get Michael's coupons via e-mail and there have been a couple of 50% offs lately. Our Michael's doesn't stock fabric, though.

What I am noticing more and more....the coupons are good for regular priced items....and everything is on sale, so you cannot use them ...usually what I want is like. 20% off, and I want to use the 40 or 50% coupon.......

Just got an email with a 50% off coupon, a $5 off $25 off everything even sale items (which is basically a 25% off coupon). My phone just rang upstairs so I'm sure there's one up there. You can get the 10% preferred customer card, but you can't use it with coupons. If you have a business, be sure to register with them and then you won't have to pay tax. I have a separate business account so I can keep all my purchases ready for tax time.
