I've been to the IQF here in Houston for 20+ yrs ... I'm lucky to live nearby! Never been to other National shows though ... would LOVE to go to Paducah or the CA shows. Wanted to go to Chicago for the IQF, now it's moving darn it :(

I'm going to the one in Sisters, Oregon, in July. Can't wait. I don't know if it's a "national" quilt show or not, but it's a big one, nonetheless.

I go to Pacific International in San Jose, California, Road to California in Ontario, California, and the on in Long Beach, California most every year. If you ever have the chance to see the Pacific International, it's my favorite. They usually have quilts from all over the world. So interesting to see what other cultures are doing.

I also attended the NQA on Thursday. It was wonderful, but you really doubt whether you are a quilter or not when you look at some of the quilts. I just wonder how many hours or should I say years went into some of them.

I know what you mean ... but we need to remember, we are ALL quilters - anyone who plans, cuts, pieces and quilts is a QUILTER - no matter the pattern, simple or elaborate !! :)

I have been to Paducah three times, Houston once, Phila. Extravaganza, Hershey Pa. and many other smaller shows. Always inspiring and love to see the new things that are available. but must say Paducah is my favorite.

I attend the big NQA show in Columbus, OH. each year with my daughter who lives outside of Columbus. I just got back two days ago and am still worn out! We always have a great time. Even though my daughter isn't a quilter she enjoys the show as much as I do. I go to other smaller shows during the year, but this is my favorite. 8-)

I attended my first one last month. It was the Denver Quilt Show. I had the best time!

Ditto! I think it's an international show.
