    A little late for this year but check out this cute "Don't forget to stop here Santa" door hanger. http://tozzscorner.blogspot.com
    Uses hexagons and assembled like the Hickory Hill Nut templates. The blog has templates for the hexagons for anyone who doesn't have the Hickory Hill acrylic templates of the appropriate size.

    Eddie graciously got the extra large Hickory Hill nut template for me a short while back when he posted a picture of the bed side table topper he'd made using the small set.
    The templates are also available, in various sizes, through the site link I posted here.
