That is too cute. You could also make blocks out of them and then when he gets married, make a quilt for them and then has children make a quilt for them.

Thanks for the idea. I have some very old projects my sons made that I can 'quilt'.
I can hear them now if they were to find my box of memories. "Why did you keep these old things?"

Love the concept, but I think if I do it I will scan the original onto fabric and quilt it, that way to preserve the original color and design.

What a really cool idea! I have some of my sons' "treasures" and now I have my darling grandkid's "treasures". Making mini quilts is a really cute way to preserve the memories since they are showing signs of age (my sons are 30 and 34!).

OK...if this gets posted twice, I apologize (hit "send" and computer went blank).
RATS AND DOUBLE RATS !!!! I wish I had known about this years ago before my son's projects (home and school) got old, faded and torn. I did save about 5-6 projects and this gives me hope to save them. Would def. make a wonderful wall hanging.

Fantastic idea! I have lots. You can also scrapbook and if the project is to big take pictures. But I really love the quilt idea.

What a wonderful idea, I'll have to remember that when my granddaughter starts bringing art projects home from school. I'll have to wait a few years though, she's only 1.
