there are many artists that are snow dying, BUT please do some research on what dyes they use and what precautions need to be made if you want to do this outdoors...as in if you have a septic system or city run off....either way the dyes could pose an issue!
also do not do this with kids/dogs in the same area as the dyes need to sit on the snow for several hours!

That is really cool. Glad to see there is one thing you can do with snow. I am with cmagee84 - there really is not much snow here and it is usually dirty. I should have done this in West Virginia. We sure got plenty there.
