That is simply gorgeous. The quilting on it is perfect. I think you are making the right decision on ordering the pattern especially being in love with it as much as you are & the memories it brings you. You would feel bad if you didn't get it. If it is something you want bad enough then it's not expensive. Thats the way I see it. Even if I had to save to get it, I would.

and is called Cherry Tweet. You need to scroll down the page about 1/3rd of the way to start seeing snippets of it. Little bluebirds and cherries. Lots of applique on the quilt. I'm bummed because the pattern, with shipping is $17. That is what I pay for a book! It reminds me of a tea cloth I worked on as a girl (many, many years ago). I was one of 5 girls and my mom used to take us out on the front porch and embroider and applique while the babies napped in the afternoon. Seems like a few years ago, but not 60 years ago. Oh my. What do you think? Gerry
GET THE PATTERN! You love it, will use it, and $17 is not really that much to duplicate all those fond memories!

The tutorials are excellent. Includes more important tips on the correct way to hold the needle and simplifies applique tips.
    That you so much

Buy it.... that is absolutley beautiful.... buy it.... so what if that's what you would pay for a book.... have you seen this pattern in any of those books???? No.... it's a challenge, but worth it.. I might buy it!!!!! That's wonderful you embroider. I'm joining a embroidery guild, because it is a dying art... keep embroidering....

Oh my goodness. Yes, that is a beautiful quilt! I am debating whether to get it myself. I love blue birds, cherries and strawberries. That one is just to beautiful for words........

It's outstanding. Wish I could do applique, I do love it so. Just don't have the patience for it.

I think it will be money well spent. It seems a small outlay for such a lot of pleasure (and it's healthier than a lot of pleasures!).

I really like the quilt. Just reminds me of Grams, milk, and cookies and snuggling up with Grams to watch Password and Price Is Right. Simpler times for sure.

Did you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page? She made a little something different and cute. Check it out.
