    i tried to open instructions, but all i get is a closer pic of the pattern covr. are there special instructions for getting that pattern? do i have to open an account? i can't get the other one either. weird.



    EDIT: has anyone been able to open this?

    I just clicked the link that said to download the pattern---got it no problem. It shows a pic of the quilt and as you scroll down you get directions.

    Thanks, Ranger. I've been looking for something different for a baby quilt and I think I'll try this one. Wouldn't it be cute with lots of novelty "little boy" fabrics - trains, cars, etc? Baby is 2 days old now, so I guess I'd better get going. Will post pics if it turns out any good!

    okay. i got it. is anyone really going to do this? it looks like it would be easier to do it by hand to get the smoothest round edges. it also looks like a life-work. those little divots are teeny-weeny to do by machine.

    Pam,I wanted to do a sports-themed one, but not sure it would look as nice as the 'solid' fabrics or fabrics that read as solid. Wish I had EQ cause then I could do as Joanne suggested -----paste the fabrics in to see how they would look
