Very pricey and not sure how long it would last before it broke when putting together or taking apart

I have put this ruler together and taken it apart. I couldn't find any fault with it.

Kalama, you question about your applique being w/in 1/4" of the outside edge. I think this ruler would accommodate this as I believe any dimensional applique would not be at the 1/4" mark and would be flatter (i.e., a leaf or stem). Most of mine have the height toward the center of the blocks. Does this make sense?

I watched the video, but I didn't see any pieces other than what she snapped together, but onebyone above said there are lots of pieces to make it bigger. Which makes more sense of the product. I'd not order one though, we have a saying here, "is it a weak sister?" In other words a limited use item that takes up space.

Quilty-Louise, I feel like I'm raining on your parade and that isn't my intent. You asked for opinions not just praises.

There are 20 pieces. My ruler came yesterday. I may use it next week or next year.

    Kalama

You are not raining on my parade i DID ask for opinions
    likes/dislikes.

I KNOW there are many people who wouldn't even give this
ruler a second thought. But for ME I have already invested
WAY in rulers (and some never used) more than the cost of
this ruler. IF I do get this ruler I intend to sell off MOST of my
other square rulers which will help to offset the cost.

I have a 20" square ruler I purchased at Joanns several years
ago, NEVER used my whole intent for buying it was to square
up my quilts and other projects. Same goes for the 15-1/2" sq
ruler that sits in the closet with the larger one.

I have many rulers still with the plastic on them. Most bought with a big discount and many I won on blog give aways and Facebook. The looks of my sewing room looks like I spent a fortune on items but very few items I paid full price or bought myself.
