    http://lifesaquilt.blogspot.com/2006/09/door-quilt_14.html

I was doing the surf thing under door quilt for drafts. My house is really drafty, I put lovely plastic on the windows and beach towels against the door. I had never given a door quilt a thought till one was posted by Misty under pics
So here goes another project. That wool blackent that is picky finds a new life.

I think this site has mostly pictures but some of you may be interested.
Be sure and read the poem on the page."Life is a Quilt"

I love this idea of door quilts, but never heard of them before. Looks like a great answer to my draft problem, also. Thank you both for introducing us to another use for quilts. There are only so many beds and wall space available.

Hi, my first time to reply on this site. There is also a quilted type of insulated coering for doors/windows sold at JoAnn Fabrics. it can be sewn and covered with a fabric.

Also, I am looking for any ideas for a mother/daughter dinner where we are using a quilt/leaving a legacy theme. Any ideas out there?
