I know a lot of us wish we had bought more, or wish we had bought that fabric period and it is gone from the quilt shop.

I am going to share my secret with you. Here in town there is a big fabric store that is actually half of a pharmacy. They have thousands of bolts and flat folds. Many of the fabrics in this store are from 2007 and before. I am talking Moda, Timeless Treasures, Amy Butler, etc. These are usually 20-40% off original price.

They do not have a website. They don't advertise or have coupons, but they do take Joann's coupons in the store.

If you are desperate to find something, give them a call. They will look for it and ship it to you if they have it.

A and E Fabrics in Pensacola, FL (850)455-0112.

    Wendy,
How do you stay away from there? I have to make a conscious, say-it-out-loud decision NOT to go into the store! Thanks for the heads up.

Luckily it is on the far end of town and they are only open from til 6 weekdays and 10 to 3 on Saturdays. If I do my chores midday Saturday, I have no time to get there!
