Here is another thread discussing LED lights at a less expensive price. I bought a stand along LED desk light that works wonder so these type lights are worth it.

This looks like the same thing only cheaper unless you want to get another kit for another machine. http://inspiredled.com/sewing-machin...wing%20machine http://inspiredled.com/sewing-machin...wing%20machine

I bought a couple of long LED strips really cheap on eBay, but haven't put them up yet. Waiting to get plastic tubing from the hardware store to make them look prettier. Oh, I bought the plug in cheap on eBay too. I can't remember the price, it was before Christmas, but they are six foot at least so I have a lot of options.

I just called the company and they are super nice! I ordered expansion kits so I have enough to do all 3 of my machines. I also ordered the 4 position dimmer switches for them because I thought some days I might not want as bright a light. It added to the expense but this is my anniversary present to me!!

Yes this. You (or someone electrically handy who likes your cooking) can do this sort of project for a lot less than this. For $60 and change, I managed to outfit 7 of my machines this way. You need to know what to look for, but there's even videos on YouTube for it.
