Default Lori Holt's Bee Happy Quilt Sew Along

Is anyone participating in The Bee Happy Quilt Sew Along by Lori Holt? And if you are do you need to buy the kit to make the quilt or can you use your own fabric? Thanks.

I read her intro. That is going to be a fun quilt. If you want it to look like hers, you need all her parts. If you want to make it your own, then no you don't. I have a large stash but it is mostly bigger prints and I don't have any of those fun background fabrics. If I were going to join in, I would have to buy a kit. Plus you need the templates. Have fun, whatever you decide to do.

Is there a link to this? It sounds like fun and I love Lori Holt's designs!

DLuvs2Quilt ... You don't need to buy the kit ... but you do need to buy the pattern.

NZQuilter ... she posted about it yesterday on her blog

I did order the simple shapes, but I missed the window time to pre-order the kit from fat quarter shop. I was just going to use my own fabric, but would have like to have the kit.

You might want to check fat quarter shop again. I just signed up to be notified when they get the kits - early August.
