    Default LQS in the Caribbean

My husband and I are going on a cruise in June. We will spend 1 day in Nassau and 1 day in Freeport. Are there any must see quilt shops in either location? Thanks for your help.

I was there years ago but I didn't look for a quilt shop. We was with several other people so we just enjoyed the cruise & trying new foods & the beautiful beaches. Also there was some open air markets with lots to see. Have fun!

Never been on a cruise, but in Cancun they use the term textiles not fabric shop.......a little tip($) to the bus driver and he was very helpful. It was worth the effort...........an exciting experience each time I went........

My experience with traveling outside the US, Canada or the UK is most of the time people don't even know what you are talking about when you say quilt shop or fabric shop. You are right in asking on this sight. I do remember seeing batiks made somewhere in the caribbean, but they were outragesly expensive.
