I live in Hutchinson, where Lynette's quilt store was located, it was lovely. I wish her nothing but the best for her semi retirement. I haven't been a quilter long, so I didn't get in on her classes. The new owner has already opened the quilt store, is enlarged some, and has a great variety of fabrics. I look forward to spending some time there shopping.

Thanks for filling us in the new store owner. As a small business owner, Lynette not only is successful in her quilting business but she made the decision to close her store on her own timetable. Just a funny aside, I was spiffing up my library for the holidays and discovered that I have two of her "A Thimbleberries Housewarming" books. How did that happen?

You're not alone, AUQuilter ... HOW DOES that happen ?? LOL ... I have quite a few of her books, and recently I found 2 of her Cozy Flannel Quilts book on my shelves ! I'm gifting the unused one to a quilting buddy.

Happy "semi" retirement, Lynette !! You've brought a lot of quilting joy and inspiration to others !
