I replaced all the bulbs of my machine with LED bulbs. It really made a difference. I have the light strip too but after awhile it wouldn't stay stuck, kept falling down. I need to find an adhesive that holds and won't hurt the machine I don't like tape on my machine, looks tacky.

Thanks for the info, Watson! I think I should give it a try.

I have a portable table top Ott Light. I had to employ it over the weekend to give me some additional lighting. Cataracts developing, the light does help, once I figured out how to place it for optimum light.

Do the strip lights put off heat? Are they hot to the touch?
