    Here's the one I made! I adore this thing, it makes a wonderful work surface as well. I actually made 2 of them and now need to buy another ironing board :roll:

    Love the site. A lady I met at quilting retreat has a son who sells them for $55. A friend of mine bought one and it is made from pressed board and so super heavy I can't lift it. I think the plywood may be much better.

    The shop owner had one at the retreat and recovered it there. She put a layer of Warm n Natural and stapled it on then put on the silver stuff and stapled it on. Works great.
