    Checked out your tutorial to see others make them. I make my own ironing boards covers also for my regular ironing board and also my big board and sleeve board. I finish my edge different by just turning it under and running elastic thru the casing. I'm going to make new ones soon and also new window valance and sewing machine covers with "The Beatles" fabric I found at JoAnns.

    Boy this is something I need to do, my ironing board cover I threw away months ago, I use it anyway. And my ironing table is all stained from steam and whatever causes those dark spots. I too was hoping(maybe after the holidays) to cover my board and make machine covers. I've never had curtains in here, but I have the fabric to make them....someday
