I have an ironing board bought in the 70's and I would not trade it for anything. It's very solid and it has expandable ears on the narrow left side which make the board a nice rectangular surface. I would like to know if anyone still owes one of these and if they have any idea on how to make a cover considering the extensions as it has to expand when you turn the handle underneath.

the thing is that I don't have a cover, I bought it in a garage sale and it had a regular cover on it. I only found out about these extention when I cleaned it up.
