I just got a notice to subscribe to Mc Calls and it had inserts. on one was a DP quilt i loved. it showed the templates but was so small of course i couldn't see much. I got online and typed in the name Ruby Reel and found it free on Mc Calls site. it had a template piece i wanted to do the border which was different. it's a 2008 pattern

That is a beautiful quilt! I am not ready to attempt curves yet, but I will definitely keep this pattern in mind. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful quilt. I love the way the DP can be done in so many different ways.

Thank You so much. I love it. Better yet I just made a small lap quilt with curves-never done them before- so I am ready. I am going to my Amish quilt shop on Fri. Will start looking for fabric.
    again Thanks

there are no instructions. just go by the photo and make the dp's you need. the part i really wanted was that template for the border. if you'd made dp's it will go well.
