Well, I laid out the pieces and I have a problem with Block 3, the middle one on the December clue. The issue is the B/E half hourglass unit. If you look at her diagram, the red triangle is on the right side of one piece and on the left side of one piece in the other used in the block. All of my B/E units are identical, with the B fabric on the right side of the two triangles.
Am I the only one with this problem? Do I need to pick apart half of my B/E units and reassemble them? I will be interested if any of you have the same problem I have. No issues with the other two block assemblies.

Here is my Dec clue, if I did it right. That's a lot of gray, lol.

Not sure what you mean, Jeanne, will go look it up. I already had to pick apart four blocks and sew again. So I hope it's right.

Do you mean the way the two background triangles are going? Cheryl said the orientation of the seams didn't matter. Not sure what orientation of the seams mean but I think it applies here. Lol, that's about as clear as mud. So...I guess I don't know but if it looks like the colored ones are in the right place?.... I'd leave it

OK, I think I got it. Like you said, Bluebonnet, I needed to NOT look at where the HST and the QST were, just focus on getting the B fabric triangle in the right spot. I think they look right now. I will post pictures when I get the block 3's done.

Bluebonnets, that's where I think we're heading. Looking good. I haven't been able to sew mine yet but hope to get to them this evening.

Looking forward to seeing them quiltsRfun. I'm getting impatient to see this quilt. I'm thinking there are a few more surprises. Like where do we put those other blocks? Block 6 I think.

Jeanne, those look great. I like your swirly background fabric too. How nice that you knocked this one out before Bonnie's next clue tomorrow. I got off work early and thought I'd get mine done. Well, here's the lesson I learned with this mystery. LABEL YOUR UNITS! I didn't so now I have a date with Mr. Ripper.

They are beautiful, Jeanne S. I am also admiring that string top you have. That's gorgeous!
