    So if small spools are bad and I just bought 5 small spools of gold & did Not keep the receiptI am wondering if I can wind them onto a larger spool. Any thoughts???

    Thanks for the great video.
    A few years ago, I purchases 8 cones of gold thread from a industrial company going out of business. I ask who made it and they said they got it from superior thread. That was good enough for me. I have purchases several cones/spools of metallic and quilting thread from superior and have never had a problem. Now I know why so many of my friends have had problems as they get their at JoAnn's.

    He sure sold me on trying the Superior Thread metalics. I've used metalic thread before, with terrible problems, most likely due to exactly what he said. Sure know what to look for now. Will be fun to test it out. Now to figure out what to do with the bad thread I have, :cry: I'm sure there is some use for it. :hunf:
