I don't think Fons and porter realize the following Missouri star has. They will miss out once people realize Jenny has her magazine!!

I, too, subscribed to this new magazine. Don't really need more patterns, but enjoy looking at what is new out there. Looking forward to no ads and the "inside" views of MSQC. Hope the guy on the horse will be able to get here with all our cold temps. -5 this morning and only +4 at noon today. BRRRRRR

The $5.99 is already a discount. They said they wanted to do a $6 mag rather than a $10 mag, to keep it affordable. And you aren't paying it all up front. Remember they are doing this with NO advertising, which is a huge money loss for a magazine already... $6 an issue is an incredibly good deal! It's more like a book without the advertising. And when we sell them to each other (in later years) we can use "media mail" because the mags won't have advertising!

I am subscribed as well and thrilled with the Doan's new venture. Almost all I do is charity quilting and Jenny's patterns are primo for that. I also love the idea of relaxing with a cuppa and a quilt magazine. No ads? How brave and bold. (Sounds like a pattern name, LOL!) So exciting!
