I think she said it was an 18 inch block but I don't know if that is with or without seam allowance. However big you make your rectangle, I'm thinking 8-1/2 by 4-1/2, the squares that make the triangles are half that size in my opinion so 4-1/2 inch squares? That would only make about a 16 inch block not 18 but if you want their measurements I think you have to buy their magazine?
I realized as the blocks go together they make a tesselating pattern or each positive and negative shape are the exact same, kind of cool.

I agree that the show might have a good idea, but the talk, talk, talk was so irritating. Fons and Porter's new show with mother and daughter is so bad compared to when it was the original Fons and Porter.
I did learn more from seeing the construction paper pattern. Thanks for a great idea.

My young adult DD and her friends will watch the show now that it is new. They said the old one was dull and dry.

But new viewers won't know that anyway. The very first quilt shows on tv were Georgia Bonesteel , Eleanor Burns, and Shar Jorgenson. Their shows were packed full of information and how tos. No tv quilt show has ever been produced as good as those were to me. Simply Quilts with Alex Anderson started the product pushing on the shows.
