    Default MSQC Block magazine corrections

I don't know how many have this magazine, but I just discovered at the bottom of this page, links to the corrections in issue 1 & 2. Most are minor, but there are 2 that you should print and tape in the book for issue 2. Incorrect diagrams.

Thank you so much, Jean! I printed out all the corrections and put the April ones in the magazine. Can't find the first one! Time to clean up again, I guess.

Wow, that is a lot of corrections in the April magazine! I'm very glad they are publishing the corrections, but seems like they need a bit more proofing up front.

This REALLY concerns me..........17 is far too many. I truly LOVE MSQC, Jenny and all they've done but this is hard to understand. Makes me very reluctant to make anything from their wonderful magazine in case possible corrections come out at a later date.

Pretty much every quilt magazine on the market have a section on Corrections-future issues put them on a page and the website has a page for looking back further. It is a nice thing I think to be able to check for errors when you are about to start a new project. Typos happen, printers transpose illustrations, math errors occur. No one is perfect. It is nice that the magazines give us a place to check to find and fix those errors

Love this magazine, even with mistakes. I will make corrections on each article.

Thanks Jeank for posting the corrections site for all of us to use. Printer is busy now.

From what I've heard, many patterns have mistakes and offer corrections later.

I didn't find 17 mistakes in block, but I found more that are listed in the corrections. Some are just typos or omissions.

The biggest one is on page 63. They say the first caption under the pictures is from the Flower Garden Quilt. They ALL are from the Flower Garden Quilt. The second one just happens to work for both quilts, but three and four do not work for the Falling Charm Quilt. I can see by the picture what to do (four is the one that shows how to put the blocks together the other way) but the captions have nothing to do with what's going on in the picture.

On page 104 (not numbered) we need to switch the steps on "close binding" You can't clip the quilt edges together (bullet no. 2) until you overlap and trim (bullet no. 3).

I agree... more time proofing is needed.
