    Just printed Step 3.. I can't wait to get back at my tote bag!! now I need to get the creative juices flowing and come up with some embellishing ideas :)

    Probably not. I have made quilted tote before and I did not use the lining when quilting. Think I might just start another one. Just thinking! :wink:

    When you are sewing the 2 blocks together (bottom end to bottom end)..how do you do the seams where I've ironed them all towards the outer border...do I flip 1 side so they nest nicely or sew them together facing the same direction?

    Sanpat,
    When I did mine I just had them facing the same direction and matched the seams, but you're welcome to adjust the seam direction to whatever suits you. I don't usually quilt the linings on my bags,so working with the lining will come in a future step.

    Sure wish I could pull off free-motion quilting! I stitched in the ditch around the jars and the pink. How's everyone else doing?
