Thanks everyone. I thought it turned out pretty good. And yes I used a tear away on the back. It really did help.

The RinsAway came today! I am very busy the next couple days, but hopefully will start my block on Monday or Tuesday for sure. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems that I will be able to run the RinsAway through my printer just as I did the fusible.

    Here's pics of my fabrics:

I posted this as a new topic in Links but thought those of us that are doing this BOM and are doing fusible applique might be able to use this tutorial.

Any more tips will be greatly appreciated for sure.

Welcome! There are no rules about joining...lol..and we are all just getting started.

I took my machine to the shop today and it won't be back for over a week so I will be working on the cutting and fusing. I guess I'd better get some black fabric. I plan on using my many blue fabrics so mine won't be quite as bright as the original, but I think blue on black will be just my style.

Wow, beautiful fabrics! Mine is more scrappy but not too scrappy (if that makes any sense) Where did you buy the RinsAway from?
