Thanks everyone. I thought it turned out pretty good. And yes I used a tear away on the back. It really did help.

I know in the past when I've done machine applique with a satin stitch I had a bit of puckering (didn't know to use a stabilizer, wasn't too bad anyhow). Again, nice job!

The RinsAway came today! I am very busy the next couple days, but hopefully will start my block on Monday or Tuesday for sure. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems that I will be able to run the RinsAway through my printer just as I did the fusible.

I took my machine to the shop today and it won't be back for over a week so I will be working on the cutting and fusing. I guess I'd better get some black fabric. I plan on using my many blue fabrics so mine won't be quite as bright as the original, but I think blue on black will be just my style.
