    Ok, what size are you cutting your black bg sq.? I have looked and looked,where am I missing that.? Please answer soon. even tho my fabric has not come yet. I am so nervous about it.

    I believe these come out to be 18" blocks, so they need to be at least 18.5 to start and she recommends cutting them at 19.

    I found this in the overall instructions on getting started.

    I can't wait for my black fabric to arrive!

    My first block is all done and washed - EXCEPT...I MISSED sewing down one small flower part and will have to do that little piece by hand because the RinsAway and glue are gone (washed). Hopefully I'll get it done tonight or tomorrow and post a pic. I'm thrilled with how it looks - this technique is great (if time consuming!).

    I'm doing the full size, and the finished size is 14" blocks...I'm starting with 17" pieces of background and will trim to size when all done.

    oooooh my black came in today//////// I get to start tomorrow to late today and this old woman is tired. finished a block on another quilt today and lack l more. think I will finish that before I start on this one.

    I always plan on doing BOM but I usually start about June and do 6 then finish the last 6 just in time to be completed at the end of the year

    Hi Jim! Are you doing this BOM. I've never done one before, but I intend to finish this one.
