It's pretty cool. However, it's not big enough for me. I tend to make large quilts, so I sent them a question about if they could make it longer.
Repurposing a shade sounds good as well, though it depends on the construction of the roller.

I just sent a request to another company that makes these. I could not find information on that particular system - i.e. contact information.

I did the same thing in my 5th wheel about 5 years ago...no place to put a design wall so I bought the longest roller shade that would fit across the stair/short wall space, spray glued flannel on and called it good. I love it.
