Default A new dissapearing quilt block

Well new to me anyway. It's the Double Disappearing Nine Patch.
Here's the link to the tutorial.

I would like to use this for my guild's BOM. I have sent an email asking permission to use her instructions. I hope she says yes.

I am looking for a new/newer block to make right now and am at a stand still. This is getting my creative juices moving.

That is a fun block, thanks for posting. I like that it starts with such large squares.

Wouldn't those be charming if you had a FQ Bundle or a couple of matching Charm Packs of fabric from the same designer. Turn scrappy on it's ear but could maintain the "coordinated" look just a little.
