I bought the Guidelines rulers, the two 6"x12" ones that you can snap together to make a 6"x24" or a 12"x12". That part is neat, having those size options.

However, I found that the rulers produced a lot of glare, especially under fluorescent lights. I took them to a class and was unable to see the markings because of the glare. I ended up putting them away and borrowing a ruler from someone else, and I haven't used them since.

If there was some way to reduce the glare, I think they would work very well. But now I'm sorry I paid so much for something I won't use.

    Hope this helps you.

Was considering purchasing the smaller set until I saw the part about the glare...has anyone else had this problem?

Finger guard would be something I could and could have used. I cut a piece of my index finger off a few weeks ago. It healed nicely but OH IT HURT!!!. To late now for the guard :D :D :D

You can make your own finger guards by purchasing the corner guards from Home Depot, etc. with the self stick on one side and cut them to the length you want and stick them on. Works like a charm. One corner guard is 8' long so you can cut a lot with one. Really cheap.

I have one ruler and I absolutely LOVE IT!!! I have had it for several years. Measurements are right on which makes my blocks look better because there is less error. After the holidays are over I am going to order another ruler and the thingy that connects the two together. I would recommend this system to everyone!!!

It looks neat...I'll have to think about this one. Thanks for letting us know about it! I hadn't seen it before now.
